Packaging is often used only until the product inside runs out. The refill principle offers an alternative: the outer jar stays in use, while the empty inner pot is replaced.
The environmental benefit lies in reusing the outer jar. Each time you purchase a compatible refill, you avoid needing another outer jar. The refill insert itself is still packaging and must be disposed of after use.

Two Parts, One Practical Idea
The reusable jar and inner pot work together.
The outer jar is the reusable container. Inside it sits a replaceable pot containing your skincare product.
Small retaining tabs in the outer jar hold the insert in place and stop it rotating. When the product runs out, you release the empty inner pot and fit a compatible new refill.
Here, “refill” means replacing the inner pot. You do not pour loose cream into the old packaging. Instead, a new filled inner pot replaces the empty one.

Once you have used up the product completely, you can release the insert from the outer jar by applying gentle pressure.

01 · PRESS GENTLY
Press against the inside of the pot
Using your index and middle fingers, gently press against the inside wall of the empty pot. Position your fingers as low as possible, below the retaining tabs.

02 · WORK AROUND THE EDGE
Move around a little at a time
Move your fingers a short distance after each press. Repeat the gentle pressure all the way around until the insert comes loose.

03 · REPLACE THE INSERT
Remove and replace
Carefully lift out the loosened pot. Then fit a compatible new refill into the outer jar, following the instructions on its packaging.
Your outer jar stays in use. Keep it for your next refill. When disposing of the empty inner pot, follow your local recycling and waste-sorting guidance.
